Hey youuuu…(charming-georgeous-sneaky fox!) quel hommage! Would say happy to leave? noooo…Colder moodier here? yeeeess… But then you think..i really did miss paris..first night enjoy the snow outside your window, second night catch a play – and so we headed to watch sublime Isabelle Huppert as Blanche Dubois at Théâtre de l’Odéon in an ambitious adaptation of A Streetcar named Desire, by Krzysztof Warlikowski. Wanted to say wonderful, innovating and it’s all about art but cannot..so left out, so excluded by the attemp of Warlikowski (seen as the great innovator of contemporary theater), really saw his vision and his interpretation of a classic play but sometimes the innovation lies to not giving your best to slaughter a masterpiece. Say that you try combining fashion with architecture and lyric theater: what do you get? you get Verdi’s “Attila” at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Miuccia Prada is one very creative, smart, talented business woman. The news is that together with Herzog & de Meuron will do the costume and set design of the famous Verdi’s opera “Attila”, which will debut in New York on February 23rd at the Metropolitan Opera. A flash trip to the Big Apple perhaps? more info here Attila and his Hordes Overrun Italy and the Arts (detail) by Eugène Ferdinand Victor Delacroix. Oil and virgin wax on plaster. One of the three photo-shoots I had to do today was taking place at the newly opened National Theater. I first visited it a few months ago to watch Dimitris Papaioannou play “Nowhere” , but today I had a chance to walk around a bit and get a better look at the theater and the central stage. Beautiful, isn’t? For the time being, you can choose between three different plays at the central stage of Ziller building: Uncle Vanya, Don Juan and The Lady from the Sea: http://www.n-t.gr And matching with the surrounding, I took a shot of a 21st century’s Cinderella crystal sandals, from Sergio Rossi SS/2010 collection. readmylips
