fancy wish list

Posted on December 17, 2012

I was recently asked by missbloom.gr, among other girls, to present my Christmas essentials. Since my wardrobe palette is rather boring with lots of blacks and blues, I usually add some color with my accessories, mainly shoes and jewelry. Pointy shoes, crystals and some luxury goodies like my Serge Lutens perfume or a good facial day creme is what got on my list.
I now take it a step further and make a xmas wish list.

This Stella McCartney light blue shirt dress is on top of my wish list, together with a pair of Jil Sander color-block sling backs, that I instantly fell in love with when we first met in March at Raf Simon’s very last fashion show for the house.

I love luxury paper. I keep collecting personal stationary since the age of 6. I also love birds. Can I ask Santa for this Bird Box by Bernard Maisner

It includes post cards and statement cards with hand painted exotic birds *sigh* by Mr. Maisner himself.

Shourouk crystal necklace.

The finest make up of them all, Giorgio Armani’s Maestro miracle.

And a man pouch -I often prefer men’s clothes and accessories- from Lanvin.

And maybe for the new year I’ll try something new: Not Another Bill promises a gift every month in my mailbox!

At the Vintage Festival

Posted on November 9, 2012

Last night at the private view of the famous A.N.G.E.L.O collection (which, as I mentioned before, opened its doors to public today), I fed my eyes and vintage hunger with the most beautiful looks of previous decades. Apart from the designer pieces, such as Celine, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Pucci, Chanel and Valentino just to mention a few, you can also find vintage treasures that don’t carry a precious signature, all in extremely good prices (trust me, I checked). A ride up to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet deserves to be ranked high into your next month’s t0-do list.

Use&Diffuse at TR2

Fashion Director of Vogue Hellas Michael Pandos, in coordination with George C.Carabellas, owner of TR2 concept boutique, curated the creation of a capsule collection by five Greek designers. The result is a limited edition of unisex pieces (in consumer-fiendly prices), with the signature of some of the best names in greek fashion (Sotiris Georgiou, Dimitris Petrou, Katerina Psoma, Stathis Samantas and Chris P.), and it was presented yesterday at TR2 The Kolonaki edition, in another “Dolce Far Niente” Wednesday.

Small treats for summer holidays (or how to spend more time pampering yourself):

Precious Moroccanoil hair treatment: It smells like heaven and it’s the perfect not-oily oil (magic I tell you!) that I use e v e r y d a y. I’ll need psychological support when it’s finished.

T.E Pareo: Two girls make beautiful greek inspired pareos, of cotton mix fabrics and locally sourced materials. The ideal summer accessory to wear/ lie on/get dry. See here all the designs that will make your day.

Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control face cream 50+ and the perfect Korres Cooling after-sun gel with edible yoghurt: your skin will love you for that.
